Indian Railways is giving a new religious gift to Indian People. Indian Railways is launching a new train name “Ramayan Express” from next month. This train will start running on 28th March 2020 and cover all places associated with Lord Ram.

In this train, there will be 5 Sleeper Class couches and 5 AC 3 Tier Couches. According to Indian Railways, tickets will be booked on First Come First Serve basis. If you don’t remember this is not the `1st train covering places associated with Lord Ram before this last year a train was started having all Sleeper Couches. This train is getting a very good response from the people of India.

On 28th March 2020 this train “Ramayan Express” will start from Delhi and will go to its destination Rameshwaram in Tamil Nadu. If any traveler wants to extend his religious tour and wants to visit Sri Lanka then there is a special add-on for them. But there are only 40 seats for this extended add on. This will be a 16 Days and 17 nights tour and the train will cover following locations in India:
- Ram Janmbhoomi and Hanuman Garhi at Ayodhya
- At Nandigram Bharat Mandir
- Sita Mata Mandir at Sitamarhi (In Bihar), and Janakpur (In Nepal)
- Tulsi Manas Mandir & Sankat Mochan Mandir at Varanasi
- Sita Samahit Sthal at Sitamarhi (In UP)
- Triveni Sangam, Hanuman Mandir & Bharadwaj Ashram at Prayag
- Shringi Rishi Mandir at Shringverpur
- Ramghat & Sati Anusuiya Mandir at Chitrakoot
- Panchvati at Nasik
- Anjanadri Hill & Hanuman Janm Sthal at Hampi
- Jyotirlinga Shiva Mandir at Rameshwaram.
Persons who chose extended to and want to visit Sri Lanka will deboard train on15th day in Chennai. From there Sri Lankan Airlines Aircraft will take them to Colombo, Sri Lanka.
In Sri Lanka they will visit the following places:
- Sita Mata Mandir
- Ashok Vatika
- Vibhishana Temple
- Shiva Temple at Munneshwaram – Munnavari
An economy class flight will be used to return from Colombo to Delhi.
Special Navratri Food
Because the train is starting at the time of Navratri passengers will be given Navratri special pure vegetarian food during travel. Because it is Navratri Special Food it will be onion and garlic free. Food will include Sabudana Khichdi, fruits, curd, and potato chat. As its many days and nights, tour accommodation and washing facilities will be available for tourists at Dharamshala.
Accommodation
Tourists traveling in Sleeper Class will be given normal accommodations and tourists who will travel in AC 3 Tier Class will be given Hotel accommodation.
For tourists who will choose an extended tour to Sri Lanka, accommodation will be given in any of the visiting places Kandy, Nuwara Eliya, and Negombo. In Sri Lanka sightseeing will be done by non AC buses and a special dedicated IRCTC tour manager will be available there to manage all things.
